Yes, of course, all our products are fresh and can easily be frozen for up to 8 to 10 months. Before eating them, you’ll need to defrost them in the fridge for 24 hours, so that you retain all the flavour of the ingredients.

Either in an electric oven, after preheating it for 20 minutes to 280°C. Place the tarte flambée on the middle shelf and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on your oven. Do NOT use the fan setting. You can also replace the rack with a baking stone for more even cooking.

Or in a wood-fired oven – the authentic way – on your baking stone at 250-300°C for 45 seconds to 1 minute.

NO ! Parchment paper is used to prevent the bases from sticking together. It is not baking paper, so you must not put it in the oven, as it may catch fire in the heat.

There are four basic ingredients for a tarte flambée: base + cream + bacon bits + onions.

As for the base, there’s nothing to do – it’s already rolled out.

The cream mixture is ready to use; all you need to do is spread it on.

Add the onions and bacon bits, or other ingredients to suit your taste.

All you have to do now is bake the tarte flambée in your oven.

Wood-fired ovens are intended for outdoor use only. They are not insulated and give off a great deal of heat. They cannot be used indoors due to the smoke and heat.

It’s an affordable dish costing around 3 to 4 euros per person, so it’s ideal if there are a lot of you. It’s a communal dish that’s placed in the centre of the table and shared amongst the guests.
